Does Exercising Every Other Day Also Apply To The Treadmill, Elliptical Machine, Stepper, Recumbent Bike?

Or does this only apply to weight machines and non-aerobic exercises?
I work out MWF… and would like to do some sort of exercise the rest of the week.

    If you lift weights MWF, then cardio on Tues and Thur (and even Sat) certainly is not only okay but a great idea.
    You really can do light cardio just about every day; but, you are right with the weights, you don’t want to work the same muscle group 2 days in a row.
    Keep in mind also that you can lift weights on back to back days, just not the same muscle groups.
